Product Information

Daktarin 2% Antifungal Cream is used in the prevention and treatment of fungal infections and associated bacterial infections in the skin. Fungal skin infections can appear on the hands, feet, outer ear, trunk and groin.

• It can be used to treat conditions such as athlete’s foot, dhobie itch (jock itch), intertrigo and infected nappy rash.
• Also useful in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot.
• Daktarin’s moisturising properties also help soothe cracked and red skin.

You must be aged over 18 years to purchase this product. Maximum order quantity is SIX per order.

This product is a medicine and can only be sold within Ireland.

How To Use

• Suitable for adults and children of all ages. Before application, ensure the affected area is washed and dried. 
• Apply Daktarin Cream 2% directly to the infection and the surrounding area twice daily for up to 10 days or until all signs of infection have disappeared. 
• The length of treatment can vary from 2 to 6 weeks depending on the localisation and severity of the fungal infection.
• Always take this medication as prescribed in the Patient Information Leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

Active Ingredients

1g of Daktarin 2% Cream contains miconazole nitrate.

Other ingredients: PEG-6, PEG-32 and glycol stearate, oleoyl macroglycerides, liquid paraffin, benzoic acid (E210), butylated hydroxyanisole (E320), purified water.
