How Long Does It Take From Completion Of The Form To Issuing A Prescription?
Your medical questionnaire will usually be reviewed by a doctor the very same day. You will receive an email notification once your request has been reviewed and your prescription has been sent directly to your nominated pharmacy.
How Will I Know When My Prescription Is Ready?
One of our pharmacists will contact you by telephone once your prescription has been received. The pharmacist will discuss the medication prescribed with you, include details on the cost and organise for collection or delivery of medication.
Can I Get My Prescription Medication Delivered?
Yes, once your prescription is received by the pharmacy, we will contact you to give you the option to have your medication delivered.
How Do I Pay For My Medication?
One of our pharmacists will call you for a brief consultation on your prescription. We can then take payment over the phone or we can send you a secure payment link by email. Alternatively, for in-store collections, you can pay in-store..
Can I Get A Repeat Prescription?
Yes, depending on the condition being treated, repeat prescriptions can be for as long as 6 months.
What If Is Not Medically Appropriate To Issue A Prescription Based On The Completed Questionnaire?
If for whatever reason it is deemed medically unsuitable for a prescription to be issued, you will be issued a refund. This refund does not apply to video consultations.
What If My Condition Is Not Listed? GP Video Consultation Available.
GP Video Consultation The cost of this service is just €35. You will be required to complete an online questionnaire form detailing your personal details, current symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. Once this form is submitted you will be provided available GP video consultation appointments and asked to choose one. On completion of the video consultation a prescription will be forwarded directly to Bluebell Pharmacy. While this service will do its very best to help, there are limitations to this service. Please note that even if our medical team can't prescribe medication, you will still be charged for the consult. This is not an emergency service.
Will My GP Know if I Use An Online Doctor?
GPs are not notified of your treatment except at your request. You can request that your GP is notified of your treatment when completing your medical questionnaire. If it's a video consultation you can request that your GP is notified by the doctor completing the video consultation.
Where are the WebDoctors' Doctors Based?
The doctors at WebDoctors are all registered in Ireland with the Irish Medical Council.
